We designed and developed railway bridges and viaducts system which enables to replace an existing bridge without interrupting traffic for a long period of time.

Arianna System

Our prestressed concrete bridges allow for highly efficient construction, minimising the operating resources required for installation without compromising safety or attention to detail.

Since 1984, the ARIANNA® system has proven its effectiveness in numerous projects, offering ease and speed of installation, high technology and versatility of use. Our systems geometry allows a continuous road system, guaranteeing total accessibility for emergency vehicles. Our rail bridges facilitate quick access to critical points and, thanks to their designed surfaces, reduce the need for polluting chemical interventions for cleaning.

PTA Bridges

This type of railway bridge, which can be used for spans from 3.5 to 11.00 m, consists of a set of prestressed reinforced concrete slabs. In this system each slab rests on the existing abutments and the height of the slab varies according to the calculation span, from 45 cm up to 85 cm.

Vibrational pollution is zero and PTA bridge replacement work can be carried out by WEGH division within a single night break (6 hours).

LPTA Bridges

The LPTA system consists of a complex of prefabricated elements, to be assembled during installation, suitable for spans from 12 to 18 metres.

LPTA-type bridge replacements can be carried out by WEGH Group within a 48-hour period for double track or double span.

FPTA Bridges

They provide for the possibility of using prefabricated elements with incorporated fastenings on the iron bridge structures traditionally used by railways. The plate removes the iron from all points where its maintenance would lead to the interruption of the line.

BPTA Bridges

In the case of inserting a bridge in a layout with ballast and sleepers, a solution with prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs was studied and realised, which acts as a load-bearing deck for the traditional superstructure.
