METRA is the innovative switch point handling system manufactured by WEGH Group.

The vast experience of WEGH Group, with particular attention to RAMS values, has allowed the development of an increasingly improved switch point machine, with a certification received for its highest level of safety.

METRA – Electric Sleeper Manoeuvre with Actuator

It is an electro-hydraulic system of switch point handling, configurable with one or two operating points with radius up to 500 meters, a gauge of 1435 mm, and the track system 60E1. The first point is placed in metal sleeper, while the second on the prestressed reinforced concrete sleeper.

The level of safety integrity is SIL4

Ensuring the tightness of the turnout stop
