Romito Magra La Spezia
The modern centre of La Spezia is dedicated to the innovation in the railway sector, with a specific focus on safety in terms of railway signalling systems.
Engineers and technicians work daily not only to design new solutions to offer to the market, but also to constantly improve existing products.
Research and Development processes are carried out by highly qualified staff, who adopt modern 2D and 3D CAD modelling, state-of-the-art experimental technologies and sophisticated instrumentation.
Specific Verification and Validation functions, independent from the project team, follow and monitor the entire design process until the final validated design is reached.

Calcinate Bergamo
The second centre of excellence, dedicated to Research and Development specialized in railway track systems, is in Bergamo.
Here, a team of engineers works on the study, optimization and homologation of sleepers, turnout bearers and ballast-less track systems, with the aim of providing innovative product and process projects in minimizing vibration and noise and increasing the performance of track systems while decreasing the cost per cycle of full life.
In addition, our Research and Development centres continuously collaborate with Italian and international universities, activating specific collaborations and projects.
The railway of tomorrow is born today, thanks also to the passion and competence of our technicians and engineers.
